A Night at the Museum: Tango + Conventillo January 26
A totally different visit to the famous Zanjón. Dramatic light and shadows frame the history of this building, its conventillo (tenement house) period and the stories of the people who lived here at that time. Serendipity as it happened many times before, gifted us with a secret and direct connection of El Zanjón with tango. Come and discover!
Conciliation Dialogues August 19
In the year 2004, during a visit to El Zanjón by a world renowned archeologist, the word “conciliation” was used for the first time to describe the project’s philosophy. This program consists on chats that, with dynamism, depth and humor, will refer to different matters that have had and have a persistance through time.
The Illustrated Zanjón for Kids July 17-28
An exciting and playful journey through the history of Buenos Aires. We will visit the old mansion from the 19th century, the archaeological area and the hidden tunnels, revealing the secrets of the old city.
Revealing Buenos Aires August 12
A fascinating curated tour, inspired by the book titled Revealing Buenos Aires with photographs of the old city 1870-1880. The exhibition of images through different media will be used as a tool to share art, history and culture in a unique combination El Zanjón way.
