How much does admission cost?

What are your opening hours?

Can I purchase tickets in person?
Yes, ticket purchases at the door must be made 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour. You may also purchase tickets online in advance of your visit.
Is there a time limit for visits?
You are welcome to stay until we close at 6 pm. Visits are only permitted with an authorized curator. Admission includes your guide and the time limit is according to your chosen program.
Can I book a tour with project founder Jorge Eckstein?
Yes. Please contact us for more information.
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Our free Wi-Fi is accessible by joining the El Zanjón Guest network. Please see Terms and Conditions for our Wi-Fi policy.
Do you have elevators?
Yes, all levels are accessible by wheelchair via an elevator, with the exception of some sections of the tunnels.
Do you have seating?
Benches are located throughout the premises.
Can I bring in food and or drinks into El Zanjón?
With the exception of water bottles, food and drinks are not permitted.
May I take photos inside El Zanjón?
Still photography for personal use is permitted unless otherwise noted.
Is sketching permitted in the museum?
Pencils, sketchbooks and notebooks are permitted.

Family Questions
Is El Zanjón baby friendly?
Yes, babies are very welcome. However, because of the archaeological preservation of our site, we ask that children remain under adult supervision throughout their entire visit.
Are strollers allowed inside?
Yes.
Are baby strollers available for rental?
No. Please bring your own stroller if required.
Can I feed my baby in the gallery?
You are welcome to breastfeed your baby in any of El Zanjón's seating areas.
Where can I change my baby?
We do NOT have baby changing stations located in our restrooms.

We don’t have our own parking lot but there are parking areas in the vicinity.
Is there a place to lock up my bicycle?
There are bicycle parking options in the vicinity.
Do you have a designated bus parking area?
